Location: 1900 E Maddox Ave

Details:

On Saturday May 26, 2018 at 9:17 pm, officers were dispatched to 1900 E Maddox Ave in reference to a hit and run accident vehicle vs. person on a motorized scooter.

The victim was travelling east bound on her motorized scooter in the 1900 block of E. Maddox Ave on the right side of the roadway in the lane for bicycles.

While the victim was travelling on her scooter, an unknown small gray vehicle collided with her from the rear and immediately fled the scene to an unknown location.

The victim was transported to John Peter Smith Hospital where she was later pronounced deceased the following day.
